Nissan Shatai Group is making preparations for the establishment of a plan for business continuity as well as the proper and speedy resumption of operations in the event of a disaster or other emergency that affects business activities. The purpose is to minimize the effects of these emergencies on stakeholders.]
An emergency may damage the human, physical and monetary resources that we require to for our business activities. If such damage occurs, we will do everything possible to utilize the remaining resources to the greatest extent and establish an order of priorities. We are dedicated to resuming business activities as quickly as possible.
Nissan Shatai Group has established an earthquake response unit headed by the president to be prepared for a major earthquake. In the event of an earthquake with a seismic intensity of at least 6 or some other natural disaster that causes damage serious enough to disrupt business activities, a framework is in place for confirming the safety of employees and the amount of damage in accordance with the initial response procedures manual. Furthermore, there are periodic training sessions about the response manual, repeated drills and other measures to enable employees to take actions on their own in an emergency. We also have prevention programs and an emergency response framework for fires, typhoons, new strains of influenza and other events and we have numerous measures for minimizing damages if a crisis occurs.
