As a trusted company, Nissan Shatai provides extremely unique, attractive, and high-quality vehicles and services to our customers in a timely manner.
In our FY2023-2027 Medium-term Management Plan, we aim to “contribute to society through our commercial vehicles, premium cars, specially equipped vehicles, and support businesses and become the one and only presence trusted by our customers” and set forth a “sustainable corporate foundation” as one of the pillars of our activities, so we are promoting business activities which tackle ESG issues and have sustainability as a central focus.

As an initiative for climate change, which is progressing on a global scale in recent years, we have been aiming for the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050 and advancing renewals to energy-saving facilities, the deployment of clean energy, and the development of the technologies for LCVs which will be required in the future. Furthermore, we are identifying the risks and opportunities for the business due to climate change based on the TCFD recommendations and are advancing the disclosure of such information.

Based on the idea that respect for human rights is the foundation of management, we recognize that the human rights of all stakeholders must be respected and all Nissan Shatai employees must act while upholding the highest ethical standards, and we do not condone discrimination of any kind nor infringement on human rights in the supply chain, such as forced labor and child labor.
Furthermore, we believe that our employees, who are the source of our corporate growth and advancements, are our most vital assets, and thus we endeavor to develop our human resources. Moreover, we think that the vibrant utilization of each and every employee makes it possible to leverage corporate capabilities to the fullest extent, so we are striving to build workplaces which have fairness and acceptability, in addition to diversity, as important elements and in which anyone can work comfortably.

We have clarified the management’s responsibility to provide explanations and are carrying out proper and timely disclosure of information to shareholders and other stakeholders. Furthermore, to continually enhance corporate value, we are ensuring proper execution of business operations by establishing internal control systems, and further enhancing our corporate governance.
Correct understanding of the needs and expectations of society and utilizing the said understanding in our corporate activities is extremely important for realizing the growth of the company and a sustainable society, and based on our corporate purpose of “driving innovation to enrich people’s lives”, we are creating products and value which excite our customers and contributing to the SDGs which the international community is aiming to achieve.
