• In the past new model development process, we went through the following steps. After the final determination of a styling (model freeze), development trial vehicles were built by using provisional dies. After confirmation of performances and so on, production design drawings incorporated with feedback from trial vehicles are released.
  
  
• In our current short-period development process, the step of building development trial vehicles by using provisional dies was discontinued to realize improved development quality, shorter development period and reduced development cost.
