means departure from the conventional development
process in which the procedures of trial
production, experiments and design changes
are repeated, and adoption of a new innovative
process in which design data with sufficiently
refined development quality are released
from the very beginning, aiming at "Zero
design change" to realize shorter development
period and lower development cost.
- In order to attain this goal, all departments
of NISSAN SHATAI are tackling with this innovation
by fully utilizing the rapidly advancing
IT (Information Technology) and by adopting
the 3D-CAD system as our main tool.
