Nissan Shatai held its 95th Ordinary General Shareholders Meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at its Head Office Main Building in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. Following announcement of the number of voting rights, the fiscal 2017 business report and other statements were presented. Then, each proposal submitted was deliberated. After all proposals were approved, the Ordinary General Shareholders Meeting was closed.

Fiscal 2017 Business Report (Consolidated Basis)

Review of Business in Fiscal 2017

Compared with the previous fiscal year, vehicle sales volume decreased by 7.9% year-on-year to 212,198 units. Including vehicle parts and other products, consolidated net sales decreased by 1.3% to 558.6 billion yen.
Operating income decreased by 10.8 billion yen to 1.3 billion yen and ordinary income was 1.7 billion yen mainly because of the decrease in sales volume. and loss attributable to owners of parent was 2.2 billion yen, which was primarily the result of a 4.3 billion yen loss for the cost of vehicle recall campaigns.

Outlook for Fiscal 2018

Net sales are expected to increase 12.8% to 630.0 billion yen, operating income to increase 847.2% to 12.6billion yen, ordinary income to increase 640.2% to 13.0 billion yen and profit attributable to owners of parent will be 8.7 billion yen.
